Strawbale Lime Render Course

Once a straw was is built it must be protected from the elements. Native ran a lime rendering course teaching plasterers, interested novices and ourselves the basics of lime mixes and mixing, applying the render to the straw, and how to protect it from the elements to ensure integrity and longevity. We got very messy but enjoyed ourselves!
