Strawbale Course

Native ran a straw bale building course to show building contractors, structural engineers and interested self builders how to build in load bearing straw. We were able to demonstrate the benefits inherent in this method of construction particularly the speed of construction, user friendly nature of straw, and the suitability for use by self builders.

It gave us all a new perspective on building as it proved that this process of constructing in straw was enjoyable and deeply rewarding.
