Skipwith Hall
Extensive refurbishment and re-ordering of interior of a Grade II* 18th Century house.
External works comprised of re-building parapet walls, new rubbed brick arches to window heads, rendered string course, new copper roof covering to flat roof side wings, re-roofing of double pitched hall roof and stable block with diminishing course Westmoreland slates.
The heating system has been rationalised with new boilers and the incorporation of solar hot water panels to provide domestic hot water for the main house. All roof spaces are now heavily insulated which now allows the occupants the luxury of being able to heat the house and not the roof space!
