Oak Garden Room

Our clients have extended and improved their house over the last 5 years and this garden room project is the latest. Tall Trees started life as an 80s timber frame brick clad family house set within larger than average gardens with mature pine trees providing a natural setting for the house.

Our clients enjoy the privacy and seclusion of the rear garden but the house was not designed to relate well to this space and the living style of the 21st century. To relate to the setting and expand the family living and dining activities, a green oak structure with glazing on two sides extends from the back wall of the original house.

The interior spaces are light and cosy and the family can use the spaces both informally and formally for entertaining. The garden room extension took about 6 months with other landscaping and improvements at the front entrance completing the work at this stage.
