Farmhouse Landscape Masterplan

Native were asked to completely restore and upgrade the existing house and then to resolve the relationship between the house, the access, and the land that lies to the east and south. We prepared a design bringing a new drive in across the field to the south rising up to arrive in a new parking courtyard. This gives a element of surprise to the arrival as the house is not glimpsed until cresting a rise into the front garden.

The proposals provide a solution that allows simplicity and elegance to the process of arrival and allows the house to properly relate to an enlarged front garden that now includes the original farm pond as a major focus of the landscape.
