Tickton Grange Hotel

We are delighted that East Riding of Yorkshire Council Planning Committee has granted approval for the proposed development of this twelve acre site adjoining the hotel grounds.  The site was formerly a small part of the original Tickton Grange Estate and the aim of the proposed development is to create an East Yorkshire Hotel Estate  based on its historical roots and as a complement to the existing hotel and its environment This development will create a firm base for future sustainability in the area, particularly the creation of jobs and support of local suppliers. Full Planning Permission has been granted for

  • The conversion and replacement of existing farm buildings with a farm restaurant with artists’ studios and a ‘farm’ shop.
  • The erection of a suite of bedrooms in a detached building.
  • The erection of an orangery with boiler house for a biomass fuelled district heating scheme, machinery storage and aviary.
  • The laying out of land as parkland.

In addition Outline Planning Permission was granted for

  • The re-instatement of a walled garden on the site of the old kitchen garden with an associated special occasion building with parking, landscaping and servicing.
  • The erection of an exclusive spa and accommodation building.
  • The erection of a dedicated business centre with letting bedrooms for delegates.
