Scrivelsby Court, Lincolnshire

Native is pleased to have the opportunity to be part of Janette Ray Associates’s team for the preparation of Scrivelsby Court’s proposed HLS plan. Scrivelsby Court is a Grade 2 site on English Heritage’s Register of Historic Parks and Gardens and is known for the involvement of Humphrey Repton in the design of the landscape.

Janette Ray will act as overall project co-ordinator with Martin Mortimer, landscape architect and expert in parkland trees and Richard Fraser, landscape archaeologist. Native Chartered Architects will assist the team on the preparation of parkland and landscape restoration aspects of the project.

The proposals include field surveys to form the basis of management proposals for the next ten years together with the proposals for conservation and repair into the next ten years. The initial part of the project a topographical landscape survey of 130 acres - has been completed by Ryedale Land Surveys and our thanks for this go to Graham Goforth for a thorough piece of work! Now the historical research and interpretation works can commence and we will be working with Natural England to gain approval for the proposed schedule of works.
