Chris Walker

Chris Walker qualified in 1991 and was elected to Corporate Membership of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1994.

Having worked in private practice since qualifying and more recently as architect and project manager Chris can offer Award Winning design expertise and practical skills acquired from ‘hands on’ project management taking projects from inception to completion and handover to the client.

1989 to 1991

1991 to 1996

Individual houses, building surveys, new farm buildings, barn conversions, golf course design, public houses, work on Listed buildings.

1996 to 2005 - In-house architect to Escrick Park Estate, York.

Design and build of Award winning barn conversions and new Estate Office, house refurbishments and extensions, agricultural diversification consultancy, hands on project management, Listed building renovations and restoration work, landscape design, energy conservation work, design and construction of Award winning 25 acre environmentally friendly holiday lodge park.

2005 to Present - Native Chartered Architects

New housing, historic building renovation and conversion, agricultural diversification, design of low energy buildings using renewable technologies.
